little joys is a collection about enjoying the simple things in life. when life gets busy and chaotic, i often forget to slow down and be in the present. as a result, i become anxious and drained. so, i’ve been learning to live more intentionally by taking a few moments each day to soak in my surroundings and practice mindfulness. it’s still a work in progress, but i find when i do focus on small delights, i’m filled with more gratitude and joy.
enjoying the simple things in life could be reflected in moments such as looking out the window at the night sky to gaze at the twinkling stars, going on a stroll in nature and noticing the delicate flowers peeking through the grass, drinking a cup of tea and feeling the warmth in your hands, filling your taste buds with delicious baked goods from your favorite bakery, sitting on a park bench and listening to the leaves rustle in a gentle breeze, or spending time with a friend by creating journal spreads together. there are many ways to enjoy the simple things in life!
i hope that this collection inspires you to slow down and embrace the little things that bring you happiness, peace, and calmness in the midst of our fast-paced world.
